The eight-story tower was co-designed by the Los Angeles-based studios of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill [SOM] and Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects [LOHA]. The sophisticated accommodations are comprised of spacious one- and two-bedroom suites, in addition to luxurious Penthouse Residences on the 8th floor, featuring endless views from Downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.

Expansive residences ranging from 700 to 1,800 square feet feature floor-to-ceiling windows that draw in an abundance of natural sunlight, custom walk-in closets, marble-clad bathrooms, private balconies, and bespoke furniture sourced directly from Italy. Made-to-order furnishings from some of the most celebrated Italian designers including Piero Lissoni and LEMA are found throughout the property, as well as custom stonework by Italy’s Salvatori, creating a minimalist yet well-appointed aesthetic. Credenzas are finished in either matte or glossy lacquers, and all leather chairs were cut by hand in Italy. Modern touches include concrete ceilings and matte black FLOS string light cone pendant lighting. Suites also offer fully appointed gourmet kitchens with white lacquer cabinetry and concealed appliances. Original black and white artwork by artist Austin Kerr and photography by Jan Almquist complement the sleek design. Sumptuous linens by Sferra, weekly housekeeping, washers/dryers in-suite, and complimentary WiFi ensure residents are comfortable in their AKA home away from home.

AKA’s outstanding signature amenities are offered, including a 24/7 dedicated resident services team committed to enhancing each resident experience. The resident services team is also available via AKA’s mobile texting program Alice.
