City of West Hollywood to Host Twelve National Night Out 2014 Events on Aug. 5
WEST HOLLYWOOD – On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, approximately 2,000 West Hollywood residents are expected to celebrate in the streets in a show of unity against crime during the City of West Hollywood’s annual National Night Out.
“I always look forward to National Night Out because it is so important for us to meet our neighbors and be aware of what is happening in our neighborhoods,” said West Hollywood Mayor John D’Amico. “Having vital local crime prevention programs like Neighborhood Watch can help our Sheriff’s Department to substantially reduce crime on our residential streets. I love that West Hollywood residents participate so enthusiastically in National Night Out and I can’t wait to see you all out there!”
One dozen events will take place during the evening and attendance is free. A complete up-to-date list of events, times, and locations is available on the City’s website atwww.weho.org/nno.
